The portugese know what's good. They awarded a gold medal to our La Grange Cabernet Sauvignon 2013.
It was for the first time that Portugal hosted the wine competition 'Portugal Wine Trophy'. The venue of this international competition was the picturesque cultural park 'BOEIRA' near the city of Porto, well worth a visit if you ever travel to Portugal.
The grapes for our Cabernet Sauvignon come from a vineyard directly behind our winery and that we planted only five years ago.
2013 was the first year we harvested these grapes and the quality of the grapes is fantastic - as the gold medal proves.
